The opportunity arises for a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to begin their career in the building and construction industry.

We are looking for an aspiring, dedicated 1st Year Carpenter that is passionate about becoming a qualified tradesperson.
We are a family-owned business based in Logan, specialising in renovations and extension.

There is a strong emphasis on training and employee development with one-on one mentoring throughout your apprenticeship and on-going professional development opportunities following the completion of your apprenticeship.

We predominately work locally on the South Side, including Logan area, Ipswich, and Northern Gold Coast.

A current driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle, ready to start work onsite is an essential requirement for this role.

It’s been a while between posts and I have to admit, keeping up with the social media aspect of the business is quite a challenging effort for a busy working family.
So just to keep you updated, our wonderful team have been busy handing over a number of bathroom renovations, beautifying front entryways and my personal favourite a beautiful Hampton’s inspired kitchen from a much loved return client.

Future projects are looking quite promising as well, with our team busy coordinating a number of large extensions that are progressing into the design and planning stages.

We love a good progress update here at TJM Builders QLD.
Currently we have been renovating a charming workers cottage, located in the heart of Petrie Terrace. This cottage is a little bit special, as it is also where our clients call home.

The scope for this project was to upgrade the laundry and bathroom areas, with a modernised yet classic touch to reflect on the nostalgic Victorian period in which this cottage was built.

Interesting tip for postcode 4000, Petrie Terrace was named after the thoroughfare, Petrie Terrace, which runs from Upper Roma Street to the Five Ways at Musgrave Road. Andrew Petrie was a pioneer of Brisbane and his son, John, was the first mayor of the town of Brisbane in 1859.

It’s nice to be a part of something where you really know your making a difference. This recent reno was completed to assist our client who had slipped through the gaps in terms of meeting the criteria mapped out to meet the requirements of the NDIS program. We worked together with our client, their daughter and the Occupational Therapist to create a functioning home environment. After a very long inpatient admission, we are happy to have this ready for our client on their much awaited return to their home. Maintaining independence is vital for anyone’s wellbeing and we are grateful that we played a small part in their journey.
