T R A D E R S - L A N E / C O O R O Y: We like to make an entrance here at Wild Carpentry Co. Designed and constructed these huge hanging barn style doors. To fit in with the charm of the country town of Cooroy, giving a rustic & industrial feel. Fabricating the doors on site using reo-mesh with a double offset for the second layer to create the big square little square pattern. This was 1 entrance out of 2 created for this project. 150x150 Cypress pine posts with a wire brushed finish, all posts and beams mortise and tenoned with a 10mm steel plate, to connect the 2 cantilevered top beams. Feedback during the build on this project had been fantastic, so cheers to everyone that stopped by for a chat & showed interest we had a lot of fun! 🔨 ⚡️

T R A D E R S - L A N E / C O O R O Y : Phase 1 - A face lift for the facade of these tired old shops. Picture framing the windows / doors & weatherboarding all around to give the building the country feel it desired. Taking no credit from the team who transformed the inside of this place, was a pleasure to work along side a dedicated team upholding such a high standard of work 👌🏻! K O O K A B U R R A V I L L A G E: This was a great project to be involved in. Previously having quotes from some big names in the area for disability access. We managed to take on this project adding in some nice features and go above and beyond for our client with the essential works. Allowing unaided accessibility to the property with her walking frame. Using 90x19 Merbau decking, solid laminated Merbau posts, h4 hardwood framing & bearers to tie into the driveway. Traditional balustrading & gates to match.

M O D U L A R 20 F T C O N T A I N E R: Back when myself & joined forces to create some amazing spaces! This 20ft container studio, packed with all the essentials for a relaxing get away in nature, garden office or simply an extension of your property. Self contained and able to be dropped off & relocated again and again. All the provisions for off grid living, the possibilities for the shipping containers are extensive!

V A U L T E D: This vaulted ceiling pergola had all the bells and whistles, lining boards & exposed rafters, open screened gables & a pitched screened dormer. This was a really fun project with plenty of detail. Starting off with the deck frame clad in 140x19 spotted gum decking used as a platform for the construction of the pergola. 🔨 🔨

A L E X A N D R A H E A D L A N D S - Just a small poolside deck extension on this one, using 140mm Merbau boards and scribing to the un-level pool coping a sand and re-oil but the clients then the new & exisiting decks should merge pretty well 🔨.

N O O S A V I L L E - We offered something different on this one, boasting a steam bent curved 140x19 spotted gum raised deck, had to install a large pit & pump fed by agg-lines to eradicate the build up of rain water after we dug levels down sufficiently for clearance from our framework, due to the coffee rock beneath the soil. Perfect for lounging under the huge pandanus. And really made this stone wall pop, by grinding in a 10mm shadow line over the deck 🤌🏻 🔨 .

Certified pool fence / screening with a difference, using 100x50 recycled hardwood rafters, we wire brushed these back and gave them a couple of coats of Cutek oil to preserve and also to bring out the rustic charm! A perfect match along side our rustic timber pergola & Corten steel planter ring 🔨!

Out with the old & in with the new on this Buderim project. The aim was to extend the height of the opening so that you can see the sky above the ridge from the kitchen. Also to have a large opening for light transfer and breeze. These sleek 2.7m x 5.2m stacker doors from .au accomplished this nicely 🔨!

Buderim project: Our objective was to create more light, open the home up to a more open planned living situation. Create an extra bathroom, new kitchen & remove the old noisy industrial fan!! Accomplished well with a durable hybrid flooring to flow through the whole floor space, starting from the new entry all the way through to the new stacker custom 2.7 x 4.8m stacker doors 👀 (post to follow).

Buderim Project: This started off as a couple of smaller jobs, one of which was this entrance face lift. Replacing the old tired deck & framework for new blackbutt 138x19mm decking. Respraying the tired old handrail. Pushing the property entrance out past the side garage door entry. With Tasmanian oak full glass double doors in a custom oak frame.
