A tidy little commercial 6mm trowel down polyurethane cement floor completed this week.

If you have a commercial kitchen then this is the floor for you . Food safe slip resistant and hard wearing.

Perfect epoxy ground the tiles with aggressive 6 grit diamonds to ensure adequate key for this new floor .

We filled the void left behind by some drumy tiles ,installed arrowhead and coved to the highest of standards ready for the new 6mm pu flooring .

280m2 complete in 5 days to a standard that can only be described as perfect 🤩

✨The previous flake floor was incorrectly installed and levelled with cementitious levelling materials hard up against control joints.😢

✨Most resins especially epoxy won’t properly adhere to any cementitious levelling material like feather finish, this combined with movement at the control joints led to premature failure.😔

✨Perfect Epoxy completely removed the old floor and levelling materials to provide a sound substrate for the new floor 😊

✨Levels were reinstalled and screeded using an Epoxy mortar to provide a flawless and tough 💪 substrate suitable for the new Perfect floor.

✨No more tripping over the broken floor after a beer or two playing Golf 🍻

✨Colour : Quartz Stone by designer flake on neutral grey base.

🔔 Our client came to us in desperate need of ideas on how to transform his basement last year .

✨ We used our industry expertise to deliver truly remarkable results !

✨ Noticing the difference in our floors we were invited back to repair another company’s poor attempt at a floor.

😢 The previous applicator didn’t follow the correct preparation procedures and applied the sealer to thin leading to premature failure 😨.

✨ Perfect epoxy ground back the poor workman ship and applied APC Graphite (s) on a dark grey base to a tradesman’s standards 😃

Plain colour coatings are a budget friendly option that is long lasting and won’t turn yellow .

The construction joint in this slab was not ideal so we filled the joint back level with construction grade epoxy mortar and re established the joint to prevent cracking .
