The Harvey Builders Team was lucky enough to attend the HIA Awards 2021 at the The Adelaide Convention Centre on Saturday 4th December. We are extremely proud to announce that Brett Ackland was awarded the SA HIA Apprentice of the Year 2021. Congratulations again Brett. Such a deserving award and we are so glad that we were there to watch you take out this prestigious award. What an honour it is to have you part of the team - we can’t wait to watch you grow even further & we thank you for your dedication to our small family business.

Yesterday, Brett Ackland was awarded the ‘2021 HIA 4th Year Apprentice of The Year Award’. We are incredibly proud of Brett and all he has accomplished as an Apprentice & are so glad that he could be recognised for it. We are very lucky to have Brett stay on sub-contracting to us as of May 2021. Thank you Brett for your dedication to the Building industry and our small family owned business. We look forward to having you on the Harvey Builders team for many years to come.

Due to continued growth and success, Harvey Builders seeks a multi-skilled Carpenter/Tradesperson with a good knowledge and understanding of general building and maintenance in a full time capacity.

We are a small family owned business located in Burra SA who prides ourselves on our reputation for quality work.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, self-motivated and prides themselves on their ability to work quickly and accurately in a matter that reflects a high client service standard.

They must be proficient and experienced in all aspects of Carpentry with general building experience. You will be responsible for working within a small team and at times, on your own reporting to the Director/Manager.

Excellent communication skills are a must to enable the best experience to our clients as well as other team members/sub-contractors.

Essential Competencies:
- Trade Qualification
- Current SA Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Working with Children check or willing to obtain
- Machinery tickets preferable
- Sound knowledge and understanding
- Fantastic organisational skills to ensure projects run smoothly on site.
