The Salt House - What was once a compact 90m² home has been thoughtfully reimagined into a spacious 210m² modern coastal residence, designed for a young, growing family.

The extension introduced an entirely new second floor, complete with a private master retreat, upstairs living area, home office and powder room, while downstairs now offers generous open-plan living, a welcoming mudroom and a striking new entry staircase.

Designed by Ash from Aspect Designs, the renovation creates a seamless connection between the original home and the coastal studio we completed in 2022, giving the entire property a unified architectural identity.

The Salt House - this renovation marks our third project at this Busselton property. It all began in 2019 with the renovation of the original home. In 2022, we returned to replace an ageing shed with a contemporary two-storey coastal studio.

And now, we've completed the final chapter—transforming the original 90m² home into a beautifully connected 210m² modern coastal residence. Watch this space for the reveal.

The Outlook | Busselton - For our clients, the vision for this renovation was key - create a home where family and friends could come together while making the most of one of WA's most spectacular beachfront locations.

The stunning result is a luxury transformation that balances everyday comforts with effortless entertaining. The upper level was designed as the heart of the home, where the kitchen, scullery, dining and living spaces flow seamlessly onto the expansive ocean-facing balcony. Downstairs, a dedicated games and entertaining zone is a perfect retreat for family and guests.

Bringing this vision to life took an incredible team. From the extensive structural steel required to create the expansive open-plan spaces, to bespoke cabinetry, natural stone fireplace, custom lighting, glazing and detailed finishes, every trade played an essential role in delivering this amazing home. Absolute legends!

The Outlook | Busselton - this stunning coastal home was handed over to our clients a few months ago. It was a significant renovation set on a premium beachfront block.

With over 515m² of living space and 651m² under roof, every square metre has been thoughtfully designed to embrace the incredible coastal block. Large-format glazing captures uninterrupted ocean views, while the striking skillion roof and highlight windows flood the living spaces with natural light.

The transformation includes a residential lift, extensive structural steelwork, Heatseal uPVC double glazing.

One of our favourite details… almost every room enjoys an ocean view!
