So, you know those power failures we are experiencing...again!!

Well, we have one happy client who can work straight through any power failure.
Raj at Mundijong Pharmacy recently asked if we could help him out. So we supplied and installed a new generator, diesel 3 phase, permanently installed and connected to an automatic transfer switch.

Western Power goes off....within a minute, power is back on. Western Power comes back on, even if it's a day later....automatic transfer switch changes back over and shuts down the generator.

What Raj was really happy about was that he didn't have to do anything!!

Concrete pad was laid, generator supplied, installed, connected, tested and commissioned.

If a client is happy, we are even happier 😀

Always great to work with Ryan and the team at Integrated Power 👍

Mr. N. called me up today. “My bore pumpa notta worka. You come fix”.

So I went around to his place the same day and fixed the pump. And it got me thinking, whilst I love the work, this could have been avoided if he had run the pump a few times over the winter months.

You see, if something’s not used for a period of time, it can seize up, or ants can make a nest in the control circuit and cause all sorts of dramas. Ants like a nice warm dry spot, and what better place than a pump controller. The trouble is, they get inside the switch mechanism, which means it doesn’t make the right contact. Ants have often caused a pump to burn out. Who would have thought, that a few ants can cook a pump?

Have a look at the photo below and see what a few ‘anti-ant granules’ might have prevented. You see, this caused a pump and motor to burn out. Sure, this wasn’t the only problem, as someone who wasn’t really qualified had connected this apparatus up in the first place.

The interesting thing is, doing it right the first time isn’t that difficult. That’s right, you’ve heard it before, just get the right people to do the job, and you have the confidence that it will work properly.

Oh, another thing...it’s always a good idea to run your pump over the winter months, even if it’s only for a few minutes, and you will keep the pump running freely, the solenoids operational, and your wife happy when her plants get water as soon as the weather heats up.

And if you have any problems, don’t stress about it. Give us a call. We love to help because fixing problems is what we love doing.
