This reliable 14-tonne excavator is available for both dry and wet hire and comes with:

20 years together today.

I’m pretty sure the two kids from 20 years ago never imagined they’d end up on the other side of the world, with 2 kids, running a business together that’s nearly 10 years old.

It's been a crazy rollercoaster at times, with plenty of setbacks, plenty of wins, and more lessons than we ever expected.

But honestly… we wouldn’t have it any other way. The 10-year business milestone is coming up in June, and looking back, there are a lot of stories to tell between now and then.

For today, though, I'm just grateful for the ride so far.
And somehow… we still haven’t killed each other yet. 😂

First look at the new Kobelco SK140SRLC-7 joining the Sweeney Group fleet.

This machine is set up for versatility with:
• Steelwrist tilt rotator
• 4 buckets
• Grab
• Levelling bar
• Pallet forks
• GPS ready for excavations

This unit will be available wet hire only.

Fuel prices are moving almost every day at the moment, so instead of setting a fixed fuel surcharge, we’ll simply take it day by day.

For dry-hire customers, you’re always welcome to fuel the machines yourself; this is usually the cheapest option.

If we supply fuel, we’ll charge as fairly as possible. Please keep in mind that there is a small markup, as we need to source and transport fuel and don’t keep large fuel storage on-site.

We’re not here to catch anyone out; we just want to stay transparent while prices keep shifting.
