🌿 Another property transformation completed by Obsidian Landscaping Co.!

Our client wanted to give their front and backyard a fresh new look, with a focus on creating a low-maintenance outdoor space that’s practical, tidy and easy to look after.

With the initial clearing already completed, we got to work on the landscaping, including:

🔹 Site preparation and ground levelling
🔹 Limestone retaining walls and garden edging
🔹 New garden beds, planting and mulch
🔹 Supply and installation of compacted pea gravel
🔹 Finishing touches throughout the property

The result is a much more manageable outdoor space, with less ongoing maintenance for the homeowner.

Best of all, we had a very happy client at the end of it! 😊

Another job finished up today 🙌

This one ended up needing a bit more work than first expected, with an extra 11m³ of sand brought in to get the levels right.

We added a small limestone step and used a mix of the existing and new pavers to extend the paved area, ready for the client to have their new pool fence installed.

Pretty happy with how this one came together 👌

Over 700m² of paving transformed at Comet Bay Bowling Club — and honestly, the photos still don’t capture the sheer scale of this project.

Today we had the privilege of attending the official opening of the newly redeveloped Comet Bay Bowling Club, and seeing the finished facility being enjoyed made all the hard work behind this project incredibly worthwhile.

Obsidian Landscaping Co was proud to deliver approximately 740m² of commercial paving as part of the redevelopment, transforming large sections of the site from construction ground into the finished surrounds you see today.

The photos genuinely don’t do the scale of this project justice. At approximately 740m², there simply isn’t one angle that can capture the entire finished project in a single shot — the paving extends around and between multiple greens and throughout the facility.

A huge thank you to Paul Papalia CSC MLA for joining the club for the opening on what was his final official engagement as a politician. We wish Paul all the very best for whatever comes next and appreciate the support he has shown the local community.

We’d also like to acknowledge the WA Labor, and particularly Rita Saffioti MLA, for the PlayOn WA initiative and the investment that made projects like this possible for local sporting clubs and their communities.

Most importantly, thank you to the Comet Bay Bowling Club committee, Ian and Jason for their assistance throughout the project and for putting their faith in Obsidian Landscaping Co to help deliver such a significant redevelopment.

For our business, this project has been a massive milestone. We’re incredibly proud of what our team delivered and even prouder knowing it will be part of the club and its community for many years to come.
