Big spring roses aren't luck. They're set up at the end of winter. ๐ฆ
Right now is the window to prune, before the fresh growth pushes.
Take off about half to two-thirds of last season's stems to open the plant up and drive strong, healthy shoots.
๐ก One catch: in the coldest, frost-prone gardens, wait until is fully done. Cut too soon, and a late frost can burn the tender new growth.
