Many of you may not be aware that Peter who worked for us beloved wife was tragically killed in morayfield whilst partaking in the Xmas toy ride just before Xmas.

Our office will be shut for the remainder of today as all our employees will be attending the funeral of Cheryl to pay our respects for a life cut too short.

Our thoughts are with Peter and his family, RIP Cheryl 🦋

Eureka Wastewater is recruiting!!

We are looking for someone who is keen to join our little team. We are based in Caboolture and work throughout the Moreton and Somerset regions.

Position is for a Service agent who is required to maintain household sewage treatment plants, work is varied and includes installation, pipe work, drainage, Serving and repairs.

All equipment, and vehicle is supplied during work hours, manual licence is a must.

Must be keen, quick learner, good listener and have good attention to detail, good level of fitness.

All training on the job is provided, if your a good fit for our team we will help you get qualified with the relevant certificates required which you will be able to add to your qualifications.

Applicant will be required to supply a current traffic and criminal history certificate.

Its Christmas time!!

Just a quick post to let you know that the only changes to our Christmas trading hours are as follows-

25/12/21 - Closed
3/1/22 - 7/1/22 - Office closed (phone on divert).

As always though we are on call 24/7, you may also see our serviceman and pump truck around on the roads whilst Renee is having a short well-earned break from the office.

All calls will be diverted to our after-hour number ph. 0418 735 829 outside of this time for emergencies. Please note for the scheduled Australian Public Holidays, public holiday call out fees will apply, these fees can be located on our website www.eurekawastewater.com.au

I would like to take the opportunity to not only wish all our customers a Merry and a safe Christmas in these very unstable covid times, but also thank our small team of dedicated workers at Eureka Wastewater for always putting the customer first and for continuing to provide a quality service to our customers.

At this stage our work is continuing as normal with a few changes, I suspect moving into the future our company will continue to operate as we provide an essential service but we cannot continue if our workers are unsafe or feel ill.
We ask that you work with us in implementing a couple of steps to ensure the safety of our staff, I know we shouldn't have to outline these things but it has come apparent that we do need to address the current situation:
We will still knock on your door to let you know that we are at your property unless advised otherwise but will ensure the following:
*Social distancing - 2 meter distance - definitely no hand
shakes
* Request no un-necessary conversation with our staff
whilst they are working in your yard unless its work
related and if keeping social distancing rules
*After the service is complete our staff will clean their
hands fill out your service docket and place in your
letterbox
*Most importantly we need you to call our office if YOU ARE
SICK or HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID -19 !! - Our staff
have the risk of being exposed to untreated water and
from the limited information we have it is possible that the
bacteria from waste could still contain the virus
*Due to the economic crisis we are respectfully requesting
that all accounts are paid at time of work. This can be
safely done by bank transfer or via ringing our office,
preferably no cash payments if avoidable
*Phone ahead if possible if you are attending our
office, sanitise hands prior to entry and on leaving the
office
Our staff are maintaining the highest of personal hygiene as always when servicing your tank and we ask that you respect their workplace too.
Finally please help us to help you don't flush anything down your tanks other then toilet paper, tissues are ok if its a back up option for you. Recycled toilet paper is not the best but lets be honest any toilet paper that you can get at the moment is better then the alternative, strictly NO WIPES, NO PAPER TOWEL.

Good afternoon we have had a few emails asking us how you can keep your HSTP running efficiently with the added stress of COVID-19 and the concern about using antibacterial cleaning products. Im currently doing up some information to send out to ensure that you can keep your HSTP safe and avoid extra costs to get it up and running again when this virus leaves our shores.

Labourer/Wastewater service agent - Casual position, approx 32 hours/week. Caboolture Location servicing mainly Moreton Bay and Somerset Region.

We are looking for an entusiastic and motivated employee to join our team, the role of the new employee will be installing and maintaining Household Sewage Treatment Plants.
