Today we went to look at a bathroom due to what looked to be just a mould/moisture leak, what we uncovered is something that is still leaving me perplexed. After 14 years in the industry this is a first.
We discovered that this "renovated bathroom", had absolutely no water proofing.
It had 3 seperate sheet joins within the shower which were two different sizes.
The hob of the shower had been tiled over twice.
Half of the wall tiles had been stuck on with sika flex and the ones that had tile glue had been spot fixed which we could peel off with our hands.
Safe to say the owners weren't happy when this was found. Not found on a building and pest report.
But not to worry, we have been and done this all before, and are giving this bathroom now the make over of a life time. The correct way
