MACKIE PLUMBING is looking for skilled individuals versed in the art of plumbing.

Our small family-owned plumbing company is currently seeking talented plumbers to join our team. If you possess the necessary expertise to tackle any plumbing challenges, we want to hear from you.

- In order to be eligible for the role, applicants must possess a complete QBCC Plumbing & Drainage license, which is a mandatory requirement.
- Experiences are required in general maintenance, burst and broken pipe repairs, plumbing and drainage projects, as well as performing water/sewer and storm water re-runs. Additionally, candidates should be able to handle minor roof repairs and maintenance work.
- Possessing knowledge in detecting leaks and demonstrating proficiency in leak detection services is preferred for optimal performance. Additionally, training can be provided to enhance these skills.
- Must be capable of using ‘Work App’ operating system, and/or a willingness to learn new systems
- Essential hand tools and minor power tools for the job must be personally owned. Additional power tools can be provided.

✅ The weekly hours are from Monday to Friday for full-time commitment with standardized 38-hour work week. (Considering part-time opportunities? Arrange a meeting with the director to explore available hours and options).
✅ A salary of $38 per hour, including annual leave, sick leave, super-annulation and leave loading.
✅ A take-home work vehicle fitted with large tool boxes will be provided. Also, an assortment of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablet/iPad, are made available for individual selection should the desire arise.

It's a great day for installing a stormwater drainage system with Mackie Plumbing Cairns

A client noticed water pooling in their yard last week and relied on Mackie Plumbing to install a new system to eliminate the excess water that falls on the property.

Our expert team installed a new stormwater drainage system which included installing pits and new stormwater lines. Whilst there, we also replaced a perished galvanised water line from the water meter to the house.

This process was completed within 3 consecutive days and we have another happy customer.
