OPERATOR / TRADE ASSISTANT

Phaze Solutions specialises in the supply and delivery of Intelligent Road Network Technologies including Public and Creative Lighting Systems. Our key deliverables are traffic signals, road information and incident detection systems, fixed and wireless communications, public CCTV, sports field lighting, public lighting including associated civil and structural works.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience in civil construction - road maintenance/upgrade is highly regarded
• Must have a valid Driver's Licence - MR Drivers Licence or above
• Construction White Card
• Physically fit and capable for manual duties
• Must be able to follow all OH&S practices
• Safety Boots are essential. (Long Sleeve High Vis Shirt, Pants, Hard Hat, Gloves and Glasses provided)

GENERIC REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work long hours if required
• Quick learner with adaptability
• Reliable, punctual and flexible
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and with others
• Strong organisational and time-management skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS
• Excavator/Skid Steer Tickets
• High Risk Work Licence – EWP/LF

Phaze Solutions are seeking qualified electricians to join the team. The positions are contract based with the possibility of permanent employment.

Applicants with the following skills are highly desirable:

- Traffic signals, public lighting, IT communications/ data and civil work experience
- A strong understanding of regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to interpret client specifications, relevant standards and schematic drawings
- Able to solve problems and/ or find solutions efficiently and independently
- Able to manage own jobs, including leading a small team (project/ task dependent)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external parties
- Team player with an eagerness to perform a variety of tasks, including labouring works
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Able to work weekends, nights, be on call (rotating roster) and travel for working away, if required
