When the call came through for urgent builders cleaning, the Bama Services team stepped up 💪🏾

With a major client walkthrough happening at Thyme Lifestyle Resort, our cleaning crew moved quickly to get the homes ready and presented to a high standard.

After a busy construction period, the team got to work bringing the spaces back to life, clearing, cleaning and preparing the homes so they were ready for people to walk through with confidence.

Alongside landscaping and site support works, this was a great example of Bama’s ability to respond quickly, work as a team and deliver quality outcomes when it matters most.

From Tully to Mossman, the Bama Services crew continues to deliver quality landscaping and construction work across Far North Queensland. 👏

Our team is also on site in Mossman, working on a project that includes 250 metres of timber fencing and 60 metres of concrete sleeper retaining walls.

It is another strong example of Bama’s capability in civil and landscaping works, while creating meaningful employment pathways and building skills for our people.

Great work by the crew as they bring this next project to life.

Big project, strong crew 💪🏾

The Bama Services team has been on site for a major residential development in Kewarra Beach, providing landscape construction, planting and cleaning.

The scope includes 140 metres of block wall for the entryway of Thyme Lifestyle Resort, rendered and painted to a height of 2 metres, a letterbox pavilion with Porphyry stone features, an aluminium sliding gate and around 4,500 plants across the front section of the site.

Our cleaning crew also stepped in to complete urgent cleaning ahead of a major client walkthrough, helping present the homes at their best when it mattered most.

From landscaping and planting to cleaning and site support, this has been an all-hands-on-deck effort and a great example of Bama’s capability, reliability and pride in delivering quality work.

Bama’s A-Team, Gerry and Peter, have been out on site completing hydromulching works for the Gordonvale Water Treatment Plant and associated pipeline system 💪🏾

Working under John Holland and Koppen Construction across different stages of the project, the team has been helping support revegetation and erosion control across the site.

Hydromulching is a process where a mix of seed, mulch, fertiliser and water is sprayed over prepared ground to help grass and vegetation grow. It is commonly used after construction works to stabilise soil, reduce erosion and support the land’s recovery.

It has been a great site to work on, with positive conditions and a strong crew culture alongside Koppen, John Holland and the wider project team.

Watch this short video to see our hydromulching crew in action.

Back in Tully with a great project update. 👏

When we last checked in with the crew, they were cutting blocks for Hutchies’ concrete sleeper retaining wall project.

Now, the team has completed 140 metres of fencing on site, delivering quality work and helping bring the next stage of the project together.

A strong effort from the Bama Services crew, showcasing our capability in landscaping and construction works while continuing to create meaningful employment pathways for our people.

Proud moment for the Bama Services crew 👏🌿

We helped shape the public face of JCU’s new Cairns Tropical Enterprise Centre (Yeinie Building), delivering the landscaping that now frames the building and welcomes visitors.

Contracted in July 2025, our team completed construction by September, building garden beds, pathways and associated external works. It was a high-visibility project that let us showcase capability on a specialised landscape site and was a great follow-on project from our work on the Cairns Convention Centre in 2024.

Delivery called for real flexibility too, with design changes throughout the project. Our crew kept momentum across irrigation, concrete, edging, soil preparation, turf, planting and mulching.

One of the most technical components was installing large prefabricated concrete planter beds to two balconies, including precision drainage cut-outs over existing pipes, tight alignment tolerances and safe installation using a manual gantry crane due to balcony barriers.

At peak, we had six to eight crew on site, creating work during a quieter maintenance period and growing construction skills across the team. Strong client feedback has followed, with JCU praising the crew. ✅

He’s getting set up with some shade so the team can work safely over the next few days while installing a retaining wall and fencing for Hutchies Builders.
