The Ocean Grove District Ride Centre comes to life!
World Trail are truly blessed that our hard work has finally been realised by such an appreciative community!

The successful opening day of the Ocean Grove bike park was a surreal moment and an absolute highlight of the project for all of our team involved.

We can’t wait to see this place inspire the next generation of riders.

The Ocean Grove District Ride Centre has been shaped by a passionate local riding community and a talented team of trail builders, designers, engineers and landscape architects, all working towards the same vision.

From the first concepts and community conversations through to detailed design and nine months of construction, it’s been an exciting journey to see this project come to life.

The finished ride centre delivers a unique urban riding experience and is the first facility of its kind on Australia’s east coast. Designed for riders of all ages and abilities, it’s a place to learn, progress, connect and simply enjoy being on a bike.

We’re incredibly proud to hand it over to the community and can’t wait to watch it grow into a destination that locals and visitors alike make their own.

World Trail have achieved some key projects milestones over the past fortnight at Geelong’s Ocean Grove, including finished concrete edging, pump track asphalt surfacing and jumps formation.

Jump surfacing will be completed by next week, and World Trail are very close to finishing our timber features such as curved wall ride, timber cannon, shark fin and low timber bridge.

Soft and hard landscaping commence next week by and are installing the shelters soon, keeping the project on-track for a mid-year completion.

"You don't travel halfway around the world for 10 kilometres of trail. You go somewhere because there's a reason to ride there."

Smithfield is set to grow from 29km to 85km of singletrack, backed by $15.5 million from the Queensland Government.

Ocean Grove, Geelong, Victoria.
Final stages of the track shaping is completed, now for the Poly Pave & Asphalt. All the structures are underway and the weather is awesome.
