Justlec Services Justlec Services is currently operating at capacity and will not be taking on any additional clients until further notice.

While we will continue to service our existing clients, we simply do not have the manpower to take on more work at this time. Justlec Services was established by present owner Jeff Ryan in 2005. Jeff has worked in the electrical industry for the past 20 years, running contracting companies, and working for others to gain knowledge in all facets of the commercial and industrial electrical industry.

After moving to Cairns in the late 80’s, Jeff worked for a Cairns based company which specialised in commercial catering equipment. In the five years he worked with them, he gained a wealth of knowledge by attending specialised training courses around the country, and an abundance of firsthand experience during field work. The Justlec team thrives in providing quality work and prompt service to businesses across Cairns, Port Douglas, Innisfail, Atherton and Mareeba with our fully equipped workshop being conveniently located in Portsmith.Each member of our staff is fully qualified to install, repair, and service a wide range of major catering equipment brands and undergo constant training to stay up to date with all industry changes. We have grown to become well known warranty and service agents for some of the biggest commercial catering companies in Australia including but not limited to Comcater, JL Lennard, Hobart, Stoddart, Norris, Eswood, Melitta, Phoeniks, H&K and more. Our clients include most major fast food outlets as well as some of Cairns busiest restaurants and hotels. We also service kitchen equipment in the commercial kitchens of hospitals, the airport, supermarkets, nursing homes and school canteens.

This position is for an Administrative Assistant. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the business.

General responsibilities will include:
• General running of the business incl answering calls, emails, ordering of stationery and consumables
• Processing technicians timesheets
• Ordering spare parts
• Generating and processing quotes
• Scheduling maintenance jobs
• Invoicing clients
• Job and material tracking with TSM software
• Interacting with clients
• Assisting Director / Office Manager as needed
• Managing staff requirements

Summary of the person we seek:
• You will have a proactive and positive work ethic, showing lots of initiative. You must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Be self-confident, well organized with the ability to plan, manage and execute a range of office work with attention to detail; multitask
• Be punctual, trustworthy, and reliable.
• Have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and a pleasant, natural rapport with people is essential.
• Be able to prioritize jobs and work under pressure.
• An eye to improve and better the day to day running of the business

• Accounts payable & receivable, Month End Closing and reconciliations
• Invoicing clients
• Job and material tracking with TSM software
• Processing all financial statements/ aspects of the business
• All aspects of payroll
• Processing superannuation payments
• Interacting with clients and managing projects when required
• Assisting director as needed with project requirements
• Managing staff requirements incl apprenticeship documents
• Screen tradesman resumes when required

We are looking for an experienced,

- Trade qualified technician

- and a Trade Assistant

to help us maintain our growing customer base in Cairns and surrounding areas.

This position will suit someone looking for long term, stable work who is living in Cairns, or wanting to relocate.

We are looking for a Service Technician who has first-hand knowledge in breakdown and service work, preferably working with commercial food and catering equipment.

This work will include:

*Breakdowns, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of catering equipment
*Specialised scheduled maintenance (training provided)
*Store/ equipment upgrades

What we look for:

*People who are mechanically minded with experience in commercial appliance repairs
*Ability to read and interpret circuit and exploded diagrams
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines
*Proven commitment to team management and site safety
*Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
*Strong communication skills
*Dealing with a wide range of people in all levels of the hospitality/ food industry
*Demonstrated ability to complete *Electronic paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

The successful candidate must possess:

*Current electrical license
*Current OHS White Card
*Current CPR/LVR
*Current unrestricted drivers license
