We are thrilled to receive this significant award for architecture. The Manoora Neighborhood Centre has been a very meaningful project for our practice . It is not a large building but it carries a large responsibility. It supports people at very practical points in their lives - through food programs, training, outreach services, laundry and shower facilities, community gardens and a safe place to gather. We would like to thank Centacare, the project team, the consultants, project manager, the builder and the many people who contributed to the project. Good community architecture is never the work of one person.
