Making an impact. Stepping up. Two Bitu-mill team members, two different starting points, one shared standard of excellence.

Naz Abbasy, 2026 AfPA Victorian Graduate/Cadet Award:
A cadet with no prior industry experience, Naz has become a permanent, multi-disciplinary contributor in under 12 months and quietly raised the standard for everyone around her.

Anthony DiDonato, 2026 AfPA Victorian Flexible Pavement Field Worker Award:
A career changer who started with no industry experience, Anthony now leads crews on some of Victoria’s most complex road infrastructure projects and is requested back by name on every job.

Congratulations to all NAWIC Vic Award nominees! 🎉

The 2026 Queensland Football Convention is underway, and it started on the golf course. ⛳

The BildGroup team joined fellow partners and industry leaders for a round this morning, with plenty of good swings and good conversation. Thanks to for the great hospitality.

Four months ago, the tender bell rang 🔔 as BildGroup secured the Barry Beach Marine Terminal Onshore Reception Centre Project, delivering critical infrastructure for Qube Energy and Woodside Energy.

Working within an active port operation and under rigorous pre-entry, environmental and safety requirements our team mobilised quickly and has already completed demolition, mass earthworks and concreting.

Many team members are working remotely, away from family and loved ones, while adapting to new systems and exacting standards. Their resilience, collaboration and commitment have been outstanding.

Well done to everyone involved, a great start, with more updates to come as the project progresses.

Great news for Adelaide Hills - Your drive just got safer!

BildGroup has completed 13km of road resurfacing upgrades on North East Road and Torrens Valley Road between Houghton and Gumeracha.

The project was carefully staged to ensure roads remained open to traffic after each shift, helping major events such as the Tour Down Under, Adelaide Rally, and Bay to Birdwood continue without disruption.

Here’s what’s new:
✅ Smoother, more durable road surface�
✅ Widened roads and eased curves�
✅ Motorcycle-friendly safety barriers�
✅ Clearer, tactile line marking�
✅ Fresh, highly visible signage

These improvements form part of the $150 million Adelaide Hills Productivity and Road Safety Package, supporting safer, more reliable travel across the region.
A big thank you to the local community for your patience and support while these important works were carried out.

We are thrilled to congratulate Bitu-Mill, BildGroup's profiling, asphalt paving and road maintenance team on two wins from six nominations at the 2026 AFPA - Australian Flexible Pavement Association Victorian Industry Awards last Friday night!

The AfPA Industry Awards recognise excellence across the flexible pavement industry at state and national levels, spanning four key categories: Safety, Flexible Pavement Field Worker, Graduate/Cadet and Emerging Leader.

Our winners:

Anthony DiDonato took home the Flexible Pavement Field Worker Award for his exceptional on-site performance, commitment to safety, and positive role modelling among peers.

Naz Abbasy received the Graduate/Cadet Award, recognising her academic excellence, practical skills, and initiative as an early-career professional.

A massive congratulations also to our four nominees - Monty Albreihi, Shaun Galvin-King, Dylan Joseph and Justin Nicholls. Being nominated by your peers is a genuine honour and a true reflection of the professionals you are.

As Victorian winners, Anthony and Naz will now represent Victoria at the AfPA National Awards in Sydney on 23 October 2026. We could not be prouder to have Bitu-Mill flying the flag on the national stage. Go team! 🏆

BildGroup just took home three awards at the 2026 Sports And Play Industry Association Industry Awards!

We're proud to have won the 🏃🏽🏃🏾‍♀️Athletics Tracks category for our work at Fortitude Drive Reserve, Truganina – transforming it into a world-class community destination, with a World Athletics Certified Class II track, a playground, shelter, BBQ facilities, and planting over 5,250 shrubs and 🌳 180 trees across the site.

We also picked up two runner-up awards for Greenvale Tennis Club (Synthetic Grass Courts) and JL Murphy Reserve, Port Melbourne (Sports Fields). A big shoutout to our teams behind these projects and to our partners at FieldTurf Australia - these results don't happen without the right people and products by your side.

We're proud to share the Amaroo Road upgrade, a project that made a real difference for Craigieburn! 🚦 From freeway ramp upgrades to new intersections and landscaping, our team worked together to deliver this complex project in stages under live traffic.
