Thinking about landscaping the verge or nature strip on your new ACT block?
Rebates for verge and nature strip work vary a lot across Canberra's newer suburbs, Molonglo Valley, Whitlam, Taylor, Denman Prospect, Strathnairn/Ginninderry, and Macnamara don't all follow the same rules. Most Suburban Land Agency community programs focus on broader affordability rather than landscaping specifically, so it pays to check what's actually available before you plan.
In our latest article, we break down:
•
Where to check for current rebate eligibility by suburb
•
What ACT Government sustainability rebates cover territory-wide
•
How TCCS nature strip permits and verge guidelines apply to your project
Realityscapes CBR designs and installs drought-tolerant, low-maintenance verge gardens built for the ACT's climate, compliant, water-wise, and made for the local conditions of each new suburb.
