At .constructions our workers are happy completing any task, whether that is carpentry, some earthworks or posing for a modelling shoot. We got you covered. 👌

Pictured is one of our apprentices, Carter on a job that’s a little bit different this week - the prep and build of a retainer wall at a new site.
As you can see, Carter is thrilled and great at digging himself into a hole. 🪏

Side note: Daly Constructions take all of our jobs seriously, but a bit of downtime and humour is also a requirement to get the job done. 💪

Daly Constructions Pty Ltd are looking to add a first year apprentice to join our busy and expanding team.

We are a family owned construction company specialising in residential builds within the ACT and surrounding region. We are growing rapidly and would like to give the right person the opportunity to start their career in carpentry.

Role of work:
• Frames and trusses
• Eaves and cladding
• Decking and pergolas
• Fix outs
• Extensions
• New builds
• Renovations

Must have or ability to obtain:

• Current drivers licence and own reliable transport
• General construction induction & Asbestos cards



About you:

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, has a positive attitude and is genuinely interested in the industry and will take pride in their work.

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure and follow directions
• Physically fit, comfortable with heights and able to lift heavy objects correctly.
• Maintain WH&S procedures

Some updates of work we’ve been doing around the house while ACT Construction was in lockdown.

The shelter and yard for my wife’s beloved horses is finally complete and a playground to keep the kids entertained while at home.

A few finishing touches to be added but hopefully this will keep the Mrs happy…. For now!

Sign is up for a knockdown, re-build in Fisher ACT!

This will be the first of many new builds for Daly Constructions! Something Shane, the director of Daly Constructions has worked so hard for over the years and takes great pride in.

Starting as an electrician and owner of Daly Electrics, to becoming a carpenter and then project manager for another building company. Now we are finally here!

We are a family owned construction company specialising in residential builds within the ACT and surrounding region. We are growing rapidly and are needing an extra set of hands to help with the ever growing workload.

Role of work:
• Frames and trusses
• Eaves and cladding
• Decking and pergolas
• Fix outs
• Extensions
• New builds
• Renovations

Qualifications:
• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Current drivers licence and own reliable transport
• General Construction Induction and Asbestos cards.

About you:

We are after someone who is reliable, has integrity and takes pride in their work. You need to be comfortable working with minimal supervision, mentoring apprentices and have the following skills.

• High attention to detail, design and interpreting plans
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure and follow directions
• Physically fit, comfortable with heights and able to lift heavy objects correctly.
• Aware of and maintain WH&S and Worksafe regulations.
