We’re excited to have recently commenced a new project at Acton Waterfront!

Working alongside .au, our team is delivering the structural and architectural works for the Arrival and Play Pavilions. These two architecturally distinctive structures will form part of the broader waterfront redevelopment.

We’re working closely with , and our specialist subcontractors to carry the designs through to the finished structures, with completion targeted for early 2027.

We’re proud to be contributing to Canberra’s waterfront and look forward to sharing progress as the pavilions take shape.

There’s been plenty of progress at Ainslie Childcare since our last update!

Glazing, brickwork and roofing are now complete, and the solar system is installed. The internal fitout is in full swing, with wall linings and bathroom works progressing throughout the centre.

Externally, playground preparation is underway, and we’ve extended our site footprint to begin the front verge carparking works along Angas Street.

It’s exciting to see the centre coming together so quickly. Great work from our team and subcontractors keeping things moving inside and out!

A look inside our completed office refurbishment & fitout for momentumproperty.co in Deakin!

We worked closely with the_design_agency.au to bring their vision to life. Inspired by Canberra’s landscape, the space features custom joinery and a curved glass brick entrance among its many standout details.

The fitout brings together open work areas, meeting rooms and a boardroom, alongside a new kitchen and breakout spaces for the team to catch up throughout the day.

A great result built on close collaboration. Thanks to The Design Agency, Momentum and our Projex team for the care and effort that went into this project.

We hope the Momentum team enjoys settling in to their new space!

We’re proud to be working with Eastlake Football Club to deliver the Kingston Oval upgrades, with works already underway.

Following years of advocacy from the club and local community, it’s a fitting way to mark Eastlake’s 100 years of football in Canberra.

The upgrades include a new Santa Ana Couch playing surface, a new irrigation system and LED sports lighting improvements, helping the oval use water and energy more efficiently.

Supported by the ACT Government and AFL Canberra, this investment will improve the oval for local players, families and residents, supporting its future as a place for community sport.

It was great to join ACT Deputy Chief Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith, Thomas Emerson MLA, Eastlake Football Club’s Aaron Bruce and AFL NSW/ACT’s Steve Mahar for the official sod turning.

As a local builder, we’re pleased to help improve a ground that means so much to our CBR community!

Today we brought the whole Projex team together at The Henry for a BBQ, a chat and a chance to connect with the people we work alongside.

We were joined by Leesa Mountford, founder of , who shared her story and spoke openly about mental health awareness in our industry, the resources available to us and the importance of looking out for your mates.

In an industry where things can get busy, it was a valuable reminder to slow down, check in and make time for each other.

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make the day what it was!

Our Projex team recently completed refurbishment works to the ACT Legislative Assembly’s public entrance and reception areas, delivered across two carefully staged phases to keep the heritage building operating throughout construction.

Working within an active parliamentary environment required careful planning around the Assembly’s sitting calendar, with noise generating works paused while the Chamber was in session - often for three days at a time.

A key part of the project was relocating the 3.2-tonne steel portal structure and associated Coat of Arms, which now frame the Assembly’s new public entrance. This complex crane lift was completed overnight on London Circuit, right in the heart of Canberra.

The broader refurbishment included extending the footprint of the building and installing a new façade to create an updated public entrance that responds to the Assembly’s evolving security needs. Inside, the works included upgraded security speedstiles, a custom attendant’s desk, new ceiling services and detailed feature parquetry flooring.

The Reception Room was also refreshed with new flooring and updated finishes, creating a more functional and welcoming arrival experience for visitors.

We’re proud to have delivered these works at Canberra’s local parliament. A fantastic result by everyone involved!

A look back at our work at 23 Marcus Clarke Street, where we delivered a 5,500 m² demolition and base building upgrade spanning Basement 1 to Level 4.

At the heart of the project was an eight-flight internal fire egress staircase weighing more than eight tonnes. Getting it into place was no small feat—complex slab modifications, constrained access and installation through the building’s front lobby demanded meticulous planning and precise coordination, all while maintaining access to the ground-floor entry and lifts.

A standout example of what our team does best - solving complex construction challenges and delivering them safely and efficiently.
