Another massive job completed a few months back. This job was one of our biggest jobs to-date.
This job definitely tested the business and the crew on all levels. Proud to say we got it over the line with the highest quality we can produce. Keeping in mind this is a very old and weather affected roof.

To bring it back to life has been a pleasure

Following works include

*Supply and install new fascia, dry verge, gutters and downpipes system

*Supply and install 250+ roof tiles

*Rebed and repoint ridge capping

*Supply and install new eave battens

*Supply and install me eave and quad

*Paint eaves

*Supply and install new gutter guard system

Sorry for the lack of posting our work. All-Round Roofing and Coatings has been flat out navigating our heavy work load with this crazy weather that Canberra produces.

I'll be posting a few of our current jobs we completed over the last few months.

Following works included

*Rebed ridge capping and point in roofbond Flexi pointer

*Replace broken tiles

*Dismantling antenna from roof

*Demolition of an old chimney( causing leaks in the living room )

*Replace damaged cornice and gyprock

* Tape and Patch gyprock joins

(3 coats of compound )

*Sand for seem less finish

*Prime/ seal raw gyprock

*Paint ceiling in flat white

* Prime and Paint doors, window frames and skirting board in oil based gloss white

* Paint walls with Stowe white

Client is very happy 😁

All-Round Roofing and Coatings got a call from a client stating they had their roof restored by one of Canberra's bigger roofing companies.
The quality of work is by far some of the worst I've seen. Being a born and raised local of Canberra and seeing this happen to someone in our community absolutely shatters my heart for two reasons

1. This is my trade and I have a lot of pride in my work and others
2.this being a Canberra local/ elderly man who still contributes to our community.

defects I found on the roof:
*No repairs done before painting
*No pressure washing before painting
*No primer before membrane
*1 coat of membrane

Results:
*Paint peeling off roof from no primer or pressure washing
*No pointer done as quoted
*Broken tiles not replaced leading to 5 months worth of rain damaging interior gyprock

Now I would usually point straight to the quote being underpriced but this company has over priced for this work. When I was told the bill it sent shivers down my spine as to how spineless some people are to make a quick buck!!!

Please be very careful my Canberra and Queanbeyan community as not all big companies play by the book. do extensive research and references
