Some of you may have seen I had a plant sale event booked, for a few hours but deleted it. As much as I love having them, and having an informal open garden, I definitely overcommitted!

However, I did order some plants. Please see photos below.

Message me if you see something you’re after, but I will be writing better descriptions and prices over the weekend.

Eucalytus pulverulenta Baby Blue is a fabulous mallee type of small Eucalytus from the Central Highlands in NSW.
Just the best foliage and colour, Baby Blue has quickly become a favourite.
This tree is perhaps 7 years old, the trick to getting them to look like this is to allow the tree to establish and store energy in the root system FOR 3 TO 5 YEARS. Then prune off about 300mm above the ground. Stand back because the plant will explode in every direction with this wonderful Baby blue growth.
You can repeat the process every 3 years or so. Don't do it more often than that as it will run out of energy.
This is an adaption to fire and they thrive on this type of management. Very suitable for gardens of all types and as a small street tree, grows to 7 to 8m in urban areas.
These ones were pruned 2 years ago and are about 2m high x 3m wide.

More spring changes to the garden. I do t normally buy plants from bunnings, but who can resist chamelaucium covered in flowers?? Not me, that’s for sure.

One of my favorites’ ‘Nina’s Delight’, and one I haven’t seen before, ‘kalbarrie’. I will have chamelaucium in my plant sale in October :)

Spending the day in the garden again ❤️

So many delightful little beauties flowering.

It’s almost time to cut frost damage off. A task I love in early spring. Your plants will take a few weeks to have new growth, so in the next couple of weeks get trimming! I just leave anything in bud.

Also a good time to fertilise. I’ve just been through the garden with Bush Tucker, a great organic product. 🌱🌱🍃
