It's been a pleasure transforming this small back garden into a low maintenance native haven. I really like to create landscapes that take care of themselves and don't require a hedge trimmer or bags of fertiliser.

Just completed this landscape makeover in Watson, the brief was to design and construct a garden that complemented the mid century architecture of the home while also being free flowing and in harmony with the existing garden.

I built a quarter circle paved area, where a table and seats will be placed using reclaimed Canberra Red bricks. I constructed a path using the same bricks as a border and compacted yellow granite. Blue stone circles where installed to connect the path and the paved area.

The garden was planted out with Correas, ground cover Grevilleas, DIanella grasses, Giant Liriopes, Statices, Pieris Temple Bells and handful or repurposed plants.

I hope the clients enjoy this garden for many years to come.

I'm currently renovating my home in Fraser and not too long ago I created a front courtyard using repurposed pavers and materials from my garden, the larger rectangular pavers were plain grey and worn however with some Haymes paver paint have found a new lease of life.

Not all landscapes have to cost a fortune sometimes the best solutions are right in front of us. Looking forward to reading a book in the afternoon out here.

Last post for a very busy 2021 thanks to all my lovely clients for being so awesome. This landscaping project was in Taylor. I manage to create a design that turned quite a small space into a very functional modern and low maintenance garden.

Before and after photos of the Lloyd family landscape make over project completed in collaboration with Mick Stedman and Amy Stedman. Lots of space now for entertaining with very minimal garden maintenance. I hope many hours are spent enjoying this new area.

Just completed this landscaping project! This area had acess and drainage problems which I fixed with Ag pipe, storm water drains and a natural staircase built with Wee Jasper stones.

I installed synthetic grass and a colorbond raised garden bed to create a play area for the children and a kitchen garden.

My clients are keen gardeners and plan to plant out the rockery garden as a family project come Autumn time.

I completed this landscaping job a few years back. It's amazing how big you can make an area look with the right design. All the materials where carried up on a 3.6 metre high ladder and lifted over a glass panel, I definitely got a work out on this job.

One of the principles of permaculture is to use small and slow solutions this is because they are easier to maintain then fast and big ones and more sustainable. Sometimes slow solutions are also the most beautiful in the plant kingdom this is a photo of a Tulip Tree I planted over 15 years ago it would of lucky to of been 3 foot high when planted its looking very beautiful now and never required any maintenance.

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I last posted anything I have been flat out working and juggling several landscaping jobs at the one time. I have now just finished the front garden of a landscaping project I started pre covid lockdown with the back garden soon to be finished. This area was pretty much just collecting leaves and weeds now it's really low maintenance and now creates a front courtyard, I have planted it out with Buxus, Correa alba, Magnolia Little Gems, Lirope, Dianella and a Lemon and Lime tree. More photos coming soon on the back garden.

Seven weeks in Murrumbateman completing this landscape project, felt sometimes like 7 years in Tibet with the austerity of working by myself in a remote location but a great result in the end. Over 1000m2 of gardens and paths landscaped using low maintenance and hardy plants, trees and grass connected to a automatic irrigation system.

Victory 4 The Eco Gardener in Flynn, just completed a large landscaping job on a newly built house. Over 100m3 of materials went in to build this garden. Its was designed to be low maintenance, on budget yet also be functional to meet a growing family's needs.

There's room for some additional plants come spring so the owners can stamp their mark on the garden, plenty of room to kick a ball around out back and an area for a fire pit
