Globally, the rate of su***de is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male su***de by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help James stop men dying too young. Head to his page and drop a donation.

We are so proud that Fari has made a huge difference to a little person in court this week... all the hard work has paid off... thanks Gen for being an amazing handler... and thanks FACAA for having faith that one of our staffies was the right dog for the job.. this just proves that staffies get a bad wrap yet they are actually the most loyal loving breed you could find.

Our court support dog Fari’s first job supporting a brave survivor was a complete success !

Recently, Fari FACAA’s court support dog attended a court house with a very brave survivor who was seeking justice for the crimes perpetrated against them.

He was AMAZING !
THEY, were AMAZING!!

The client instantly bonded with Fari and even though they, “weren’t usually a dog person,” they found him to be a great companion and were not surprised when Fari's wonderful handler Gen, said “that’s ok he's not usually a dog” 😂😂😂

He is more human than a lot of people who make our pages.

When the courtroom video link began Fari instantly moved over and laid down next to them and everytime the client faltered with their answers Fari would give them a gentle nudge on the hand, and then lie back down.

We truly believe he helped get justice that day, Fari is an amazing court support worker, he is very loving and supportive and he gets the job done !

Not only did he do his court support work but he had quite the busy day, he started off at a refuge convincing a young girl, who was very anxious, to not only go to school... but he sent her off with a smile on her face.

He then licked the toes of a little baby and was rewarded with a very cute gigglefest.

He then vacuumed up a kitchen floor, or two, and proved that he is not only a great support worker but also the consummate professional when meeting police officers, and even a magistrate, who all commented on how wonderful he was.

Yes, he is a very good boy, the bestest of the best... working to help children (and adults), feel just a little calmer and a little braver as they go through one of the toughest days they will experience.

Sometimes he makes us at FACAA wonder if he really is more human than dog. 😜

If you, or your business, would like to help contribute to this extrenely worthwhile program, that is making what can be a very difficult and even traumatising experience, so much easier for the brave survivors who choose to seek justice for us all. Please, either contact us or hit the donate button on our website www.facaaus.org

We really do need all the help we can get, and remember every donation over $2 is fully tax deductible.

You can donate money, or goods if you prefer.. like dog food or something for the dog directly, just hit us up and we can discuss what he needs.

A special thank you goes to our wonderful dog handler Gen, who has done a great job taking care of Fari, training and loving him.

And of course to David 'Shandy' and Alison Barton who have proudly donated their furbabies to FACAA's support programs. Their babies are exceeding all of our expectations and they should be extremely proud of them.

Well done Fari, this is just the beginning ❤

We are so excited that all Fari’s hard work is being put to use so quickly, he has his first job and he will be there to comfort a little person in court.. In a perfect world there would have been no need to train Fari for such a role. Sadly we live amongst vile humans (using the term human loosely) that think that hurting children is ok. To those disgusting creatures, Fri is on the job, he’s going to make sure you get what you deserve!

Our Court support puppy has his first official job helping survivors of child abuse get the justice they deserve !

We are quite proud to say that after only a week of being signed off and qualified, Fari the head dog of the FACAA 'Jamie’s Guardians' court support program, (named after FACAA fighter and rep Jamie Lyngkuist, R.I.P brother, we will never forget you ), will be at a regional court house on Monday to go into the remote witness room and provide much needed cuddles and distractions while the FACAA clients give their testimony and hopefully get the justice they deserve.

To say we are proud is an understatement !
We know our sponsors, Shandy and Alison Barton who donated Fari are absolutely beaming with pride to hear this great news and we couldn’t be happier, or prouder here at FACAA.

We know Fari will do an incredible job helping to get justice for these awesome survivors. Their bravery will be coupled with and backed up by Fari who will be on hand to give all the love and affection they need while they take on the biggest battle of their young lives.

These survivors are already very brave, their courage to face their abuser and seek justice is incredible. To face the court process will be a very trying task but they won’t be alone. These survivors will have a secret weapon sitting at their feet, (and maybe even on their feet 😂) showing them that they are not alone in this fight.

Fari will be going into this battle with the support of every single one of the 120,000 plus FACAA members ! He will be carrying alll the support and love that every single one of us have for these brave survivors, and we have no doubt that our super affectionate and highly trained dog will give these brave survivors all the help they need to get through their upcoming court case.

So this is happening !

GO, FARI, GO !

if you are in regional NSW, particularly Bathurst and Armidale or Inverell and you would like Fari to support you during your court process then please let us know !

You can check him out in the link below, when he was just a puppy, on channel 7 news at https://www.facebook.com/7newssydney/videos/1882847828406008/

Also we made an Instagram page just for the FACAA Warrior ! WARNING CUTENESS OVERLOAD !!!!

You can donate money or goods if you prefer like dog food or something for the dog directly, just hit us up and we can discuss what he needs.

Thank you once again to David and Alison, your boy is ready to go to work ! And of course a big congratulations and thank you to Fari's handler/carer Genevieve.

What we have begun here will change the way survivors of child abuse seek justice in this country for generations !
Together we will change the system, one survivor at a time ! (A)
