As a Landscape Architect, I embrace the many layers and textures landscapes have to offer; shaping existing forms with that of a creative vision.

It is a humbling experience to be involved in creating a garden design for a client, who essentially is sharing their personal space with the expectation of delivering a unique, engaging and memorable design outcome.

I have built Soul2Soil Landscape Design on a foundation of delivering innovative, sustainable and functional outcomes whilst ensuring a collaborative approach that is enjoyable and understandable for my clients.

This large courtyard is designed to feel like a modern interpretation of a cottage garden - structured but not stiff, romantic but not messy. It is richly layered by soft naturalistic plantings and modern cottage details, with serpentine paths inviting wandering and sense of discovery.

The rural backdrop is embraced rather than hidden - views are framed, not blocked. It’s a space that feels alive in every season, with colour, texture, and movement shifting throughout the year.

Looking forward to getting my hands on this gorgeous shrub. Introducing the Acacia baileyana 'Rainbow'.

A medium growing shrub which grows 2m H x 2m W. The abundant foliage colour selection changes seasonally from green to yellow, to deep burgundy, hence the name 'Rainbow'. And to top it all off, in winter and spring bright yellow flowers appear.

For our cold climate areas, it is frost-hardy and great for drought tolerant gardens.

A Forever Garden for generations to come.

This design was inspired by the Eucalyptus pauciflora ‘Snow Gum's’ wonderful leaf and flowering shapes. This tree is endemic to the Snowy Monaro Mountain region and has the most beautiful structure which for this design, contributed to the key ornamental and landscape values that surround the property.

The overall design encapsulates transformed spaces in an expansive setting, with the highlight being the Snow Gum leaf and flower shaped taxonomy.

Posts are rusting up nicely at Old Adaminaby. In keeping with the natural surrounding environment, the sawmill concrete sleepers tie in well, giving the space a natural finish, whilst using strong materials that will last.

Spent a day visiting clients in the Snowy Mountains region. Such a beautiful part of NSW.

Looking forward to spending more time here as we project manage landscape construction works and start on an exciting landscape design for a 2 hectare property, northwest of Cooma.

COMMUNITY - INCLUSION - PLAY

What a highlight for the year, to work with QPRC and community representatives again.

This new, two staged landscape design for Frog's Hollow Reserve, has the flexibility to provide high quality infrastructure inclusions without compromising on the authenticity and unique character of the Bungendore area.

Working within QPRC's brief, maximum public benefit was considered for both locals and visitors alike. The design respects the rural heritage of the space, whilst presenting a now functional and aesthetic public realm, for all to enjoy.
