Cymbidium canaliculatum. This species is found is found across eastern and northern Australia, Northern Territory, Kimberly and some parts of Western Australia. The colour range is considerable with each colour variation attached to its natural growing areas. Flowering here in the Cassowary Coast region is after the dry season right through to January.

This dendrobium originator was Udom Orch 1992. An award-winning orchid mostly in America. Was on display at the Tully and District Orchid Society Xmas Dinner in 2023. This photo was taken in 2024 from the bush house door.

This fine orchid was cultivated in Australia and registered in 1990.
Rlc. Dream Trader "Roxanne" was a very successful hybrid and many clones were selected from this plant. It is said that it was exported and in particular to Japan. This photo was taken from my bush house in 2011.

Rlc. Horace Maxima AM/AOS x Rlc. Burdekin Dream AM/AOS. This photo was taken in 2012. As you can see by the next photo this plant continues to produce top flowers.

Rlc. Horace Maxima AM/AOS x Rlc. Burdekin Dream AM/AOS is a hybrid orchid that combines the best traits of its parent varieties. Known for its striking appearance and is highly scented. This orchid measures 7 inches or 178.5 mm across.

One of my favourites. This hybrid is a durable plant that will grow in a wide range of temperatures. Long lasting and fragrant. Recognized as a superb plant for breeding due to its tetraploid.
