Do we ask a lot from our trades….you bet 😬 Heavy custom steel doors mounted to joinery constructed from fragile natural stone…oh and make the natural stone curve around the perimeter too so we can see a pretty border. Ok thanks 🫣 Honestly, we can be painful I know but the results speak for themselves. Hats off to all our trades, your patience and persistence is appreciated 🤭

The wet areas in our Wombarra project were a mix of classic coastal downstairs and minimal and clean upstairs, but colour was the common element that ran through each of the spaces helping them tie together! An entirely green and blue bathroom with a neutral floor tile upstairs was a first for us! The downstairs powder and laundry had the most beautiful marble mosaic on the floor with a soft sage green accent, we can rely on Di Lorenzo Tiles literally every single time for our selections! Thanks girls for always making our wet areas so special 🤍

No corner was left untouched in our Wombarra project, there are beautiful details everywhere you turn. The half height batten detail wraps the entire central hallway and follows through into the kitchen for a beautiful sense of cohesion. The white steel doors into the library would have to be one of my favourites and the cute shelving…or the w**e coloured Wilfred’s from Jardan! Just too much to choose from 🤍

The cleanest and smoothest mud room space we have done to date at our Wombarra project!! Such a beautiful entry to this family home, setting the scene but also ample practical storage of course! We love our mud room spaces, which are rarely even rooms in our projects…more of a zone. But it makes it into every home we do and for good reason!

The kitchen at our Wombarra project is defined by the gorgeous emerald green natural stone bench tops and splashback…it has created quite the contrast to the white joinery. It’s also a nice tie in with the green pine trees visible out through the balcony doors! We finished this kitchen with some of my all time favorite light pendants from Articolo Studios - I have always adored the classic bell shape of them. In conjunction with the chevron floor and the crisp white shaker profile on the joinery, this kitchen feels classic but in a really minimal and modern way. This was essentially the brief from day one and we carried it out throughout the whole house! Stay tuned for more 🤍

Introducing our Wombarra project, based on the South Coast of NSW this project is one we are incredibly proud of. Located in a small pocket called the Coal Coast, this incredible area is one of my favourites. It’s snuggled in between an eye watering escarpment and the ocean…it truly is stunning! We started this project prior to Covid and we only finished it at the end of last year…after many delays we got there and the end result was absolutely worth the wait! Once again, we were lucky enough to work with some of the most beautiful clients you could ever meet…so beautiful that you miss them when it’s all over! This is the living and dining area over looking the ocean, it’s truly a seaside haven. I’d forgotten about this shoot day, our talented photographer Nat Spada was creating this dramatically beautiful scene with the billowing curtains and they just were not behaving…what you can’t see is me crouched down behind the sofa having to hold down the right hand curtain and having to sprint back into position when I had let go of the left curtain so it would float away. So not as effortless as it looks!! Honestly, the things we designers do, it’s so not what you would expect!

A beautiful styling moment in our Alfords Point project. I think my favourite piece is the side board by Ellison Studios. It’s not traditionally meant for these kinds of spaces, it’s more a bedroom piece but it works. She is big and bold and beautiful and fills that hallway perfectly!

It’s fair to say that the never ending wall of Zellige tiles by Di Lorenzo Tiles was the hero of the ensuite bathroom in our Alfords Point project. The one problem when you have curved walls is there is no transition point, or stopping and starting…so you just have to keep on going!!! So that’s just what we did with this gorgeous tile, our client luckily loved them just as much as we do! 🤍

This colour combo has been doing the rounds quite a bit over the last twelve months, but for good reason…it works! This is the main bathroom in our Alfords Point project, the soft sage on the joinery and dusty n**e terracotta tile work perfectly together. Loads of texture and an abundance of colour, this space feels fun and playful which was perfect for the children of the house!

It also features my most favourite of all neutral colours on the full height joinery run…this was the first time we used it but it’s now our go to!
