The fact that mediums are used in hydroponic
gardens you eliminate various organisms and
contaminants that are usually contained in soils. Hydroponic nutrients are far more pure than
soils used in organic gardening. Nutrients used
in Hydroponics are highly refined minerals
which when crops are tested they usually don’t
contain any pollutant residues. Crops grown
Hydroponically offer a signi

ficantly increased
level of vitamins and minerals. Hydroponics systems vary from simple outdoor
and indoor setups, you can grow all year. With this no soil gardening the
main ingredients are mediums such as Coco (a
coconut fibre made from ground coconut husk),
perlite, rock wool, clay balls, vermiculite or just
pure water. Added to this are nutrients to help
produce tasty healthy plants at various stages of
growth. These days most of your tomatoes, lettuce,
strawberries are commercially Hydroponically
grown. There is no reason why most people
cannot produce fresh veges at home all
year round.
