When the builder slips and chops the consumer mains 😳. Lucky no one was hurt and it was just a small cut through one core.
Western Power disconnect/reconnect and repair job done within a day. Could have been a lot worse!

Shed power & lighting. Ideally a shed would have its own dedicated supply for running high current draw tools but this one was surrounded by slab concrete and a swimming pool - fortunately the existing home owner installed a conduit from the pool pump into the shed which I could utilise for a power supply.

Re-using an existing underground supply from an existing, now demolished shed. The cable needed to be extended with no option of pulling in a new one, best option was to put a post in and have an accessible garden GPO. Turned out pretty good and clients new shed is powered with lighting and provision for future pool installation with a GPO installed on the back wall.

Machine VS conduit - Operator took out the pipe for the cameras - With the cable run being >140m the best option was to join the cables - These IP rated straight through RJ45 joiners were a lifesaver. Bit of digging to get a pit installed and all sorted by that afternoon.

Probably one of the worst setups I’ve seen on a domestic din kit switchboard.
It always surprises me what some installers will do to make some quick coin - 20mm screw tips pointing straight through the cover and an un-bushed cable entry for GPO? Probably not a good idea.
Upgrade complete with reticulation controller relocation.

New 35mm XLPE underground supply for Mindarie Regional Council. Old compressor was drawing a constant 115amps per phase causing nuisance tripping on hot days. With the installation of a new compressor with a VSD full load sits at 70amps per phase taking pressure off the site SPD.
