Nick here, back at Bonaventure. The big sliding doors go in today, so every base gets levelled first. We take a planer to every wall, so the plasterboard sits straight and the cabinet maker's job is easy.

Two favourite features so far. An open box bar section that looks straight up into the ceiling, and a curved wall running the full four and a half metres at the hallway entry. A soft curve instead of a sharp corner.

Back at the Maison project. Frames up, roof on, windows in and rough-ins underway. The stairs are in, the fireplace goes in tomorrow, and the master looks straight out to the canal.

The Saltair project in Cleveland. It doesn't look like much has changed, but the upper trusses, fascia, gutters and roof are all done. Before the plasterboard goes on, every wall is planed straight and checked again. One more quality check most people never see.
