This installation shows what happens when you design for the full scale of the space instead of just the glass size. We installed a ceiling-fix track that runs wall-to-wall, hanging custom sheer curtains with a precise S-fold drop that sits just above the carpet line. Pulled back, the sheer fabric stacks neatly to reveal the full window and outdoor greenery. Drawn closed, it filters glare, softens direct daylight, and provides daytime privacy without making the bedroom feel dark. Measuring twice means getting the drop exact across the entire length of the room so the fabric drapes evenly without catching or dragging.

Large outdoor spans present a real structural challenge: off-the-shelf panels leave awkward gaps, bind on tracks, or disrupt the architectural lines of a modern home.

This job shows what custom fabrication actually looks like on-site. We built this multi-panel sliding slat system specifically to bridge the tiled patio, glass pool balustrade, and rendered pillars. The black powder-coated aluminium slats give the homeowner total control over privacy and sun angles, sliding smoothly out of the way when the space needs to be completely open. Because we measure twice and manufacture every panel ourselves in Queensland, the top and bottom tracks line up square, the panels latch cleanly, and the finish matches the existing window frame.
