Sorry be awhile since last post, i have been busy, look at the difference cleaned solar panels make (and the extra power that will be made), this was a large commercial building, residential houses done also. Can be done same time with my bird proofing.

Three whirlybirds were replaced with two solar powered SAV20 roof vents, each solar vent extracts 2718 cubic metres an hour, that’s near 5500 cubic meters between them.
Together they are a bit of an over kill tho owner stated that the heat inside the lower pitched large home was very hot, so this will drop the roof temperature dramatically and therefore reduce the living area temperature substantially in summer.
These SolarArk roof vents are second to none, no power required, turn on when temp hits 24deg, only working when needed.
Large three year warranty and definitely top of the range.

Some Bird Proofing done, i dont use plastic or super thin easily bendable wire, i use ember stopping “Fire Wire” mesh Zinc plated and can withstand birds, rodents, fire, also use aluminium fixing (no holes drilled in panels).
This owner had been chasing birds away for months and finally realised that bird proofing had to done eventually. They wont hang around if they cant make their homes under your panels.

Sometimes (as this client had) was getting charged ridiculous repair rates, and they weren’t even addressing the actual issue, being there for half hour found the issue was rain water being sucked up the roof insulation and leaking into roof cavity, very poor original roof install, had been doing this for about ten years, and i repaired quickly and cheaply.
Each picture is a before and after of same area.

Just a quick extra downpipe, just to alleviate to much water in this gutter as like most houses its sunk a little and changed the fall of gutter, and does not drain as quick as it used to. So instead of the higher cost of replacing a good condition gutter, downpipe was sensibly much cheaper.

As the client will be getting a full reroof done in a few years, the solution to fix the issues with leaking was to slip...

As the client will be getting a full reroof done in a few years, the solution to fix the issues with leaking was to slip sheet small pieces between the rusted joint laps of sheets.
Just gives a cheaper option until they can afford the full reroof.

Part of my job is resolving issues sensibly, affordable and honestly for my clients.

Couple of solar extraction fans fitted on a raked ceiling in lounge/kitchen room of home, that gets overly hot in summer, and faces the north which makes the area much worse, these suckers draw around 2718 cubic mtrs and hour EACH. The idea is to pull cooler air from southern side of building and its cooler rooms to cool entire house and predominantly that raked ceiling area.
