We're looking for an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our team at our Redcliffe office.

You'll work closely with our Project Managers and site teams, helping keep our civil and electrical infrastructure projects organised and running smoothly.

What we're looking for:
✅ Experience in project or construction administration
✅ Strong organisation and attention to detail
✅ Good communication skills
✅ Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
✅ Ability to manage multiple priorities
✅ Construction, civil, electrical or infrastructure experience highly regarded
✅ Procore, Benchmark or Pipedrive experience desirable

GNB Energy is looking for motivated young people to join our team through a Civil Operations Traineeship.
This is more than just a traineeship — it’s an opportunity to build real-world skills, gain valuable tickets and qualifications, and develop a career in the civil construction and infrastructure industry.

🦺 WHAT YOU'LL GET
Over the 2-year traineeship, you'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of civil and infrastructure works, while working alongside experienced operators and crews.
By the time you complete your traineeship, you'll have the opportunity to gain skills and tickets including:

✅ HR Truck Licence
✅ Skid Steer
✅ Backhoe
✅ Excavator
✅ Dogman
✅ C6 Crane
✅ Experience across a broad range of civil infrastructure operations

You'll be learning on the job, working as part of a team and building skills that can set you up for a long-term career in civil construction.

👏 Here's to a well-earned rest, James!

After 48 years in the electrical industry and, two great years here with the GNB Energy team, our estimator James Bevan is hanging up his hard hat and heading into retirement.

James brought a wealth of knowledge with him that's hard to put a price on. He helped us sharpen our tendering process and quietly passed on decades of experience to the people around him. That kind of contribution doesn't go unnoticed.

We're so grateful for everything you gave to this team, James. Wishing you all the very best for this next chapter, you've more than earned it! 🥂

GNB Energy is a proud sponsor of the Redcliffe Dolphins & Northern Pride ball kids from Junior Teams to Senior teams, and moments like these remind us exactly why we do it. Watching these kids sprint across the field, buzzing with energy and soaking up every second of game day it's pretty hard not to smile.

✨ Lights on at Roma Street Station. ⚡

The GNB Energy team recently commissioned the electrical lighting across the main station plaza at Roma Street and seeing it all come to life at night makes the work worth it.

From the feature pole lights and uplighting on the trees, to the subtle LED strips on the seating, every detail adds up to a public space that feels safe, welcoming, and genuinely impressive after dark.

🔧 When work meets community, something pretty special happens. ⚡

Our very own Ian Mallet has been a driving force behind the Kenilworth Chook Chase, a fantastic off-road trail ride event happening 18–19 July 2026 that puts every dollar raised straight back into the Kenilworth community.

And GNB Energy didn't just cheer from the sidelines we funded the materials for a Year 12 engineering project called the 'Gatekeepers'. Students from Kelvin Grove State College designed and fabricated steel cattle grids from scratch; cutting, welding, and finishing real infrastructure that will keep livestock safe and event participants moving safely across the property during the event.

From workshop to paddock. That's what community looks like. 🤙

Shoutout to the students, the Kenilworth Hall Recreation Grounds and Show Society Committee, and everyone who makes this event possible. We're proud to be part of it.

🦺 August is National Tradies Health Month and at GNB Energy, looking after our crew goes well beyond the job site. ⚡
