Progress! I have very sore arms and legs 🤪- the bluestones are all moved, the majority of weeds are out, the ground is ready to start rotary hoeing and forming the individual garden beds!
My “assistant” has been no help at all- lucky she’s cute! ☺️.

The wait feels so looooong! Cant wait to see the garden full of these beautiful blooms again!

Today’s garden adventures! Such a perfect gardening day…slowly getting through the weeds but they are felling endless right now! Had to break it up and plant out a few seedlings!

Slowly making the beds- this one has taken a lot of back breaking lifting and moving of heavy bluestones- but I’m happy with the progress. I’ll be building a matching bed on the other side of the path under the rheo arbor…but maybe not today 😜

I have really missed being able to go out into the garden and pick a fresh bunch of whatever catches my eye and matches my mood for the day! The stock smells amazing, the waxflower is so lovely- looks delicate but sooo hardy, and that dahlia…well it’s a rebel- flowering all through the freezing winter cold!
