YARD MAINTENANCE WORKER – COFFS HARBOUR

Joel’s Jungle Maintenance is looking for a casual yard maintenance worker to join our growing local business.

This is outdoors, hands on work with flexible hours depending on workload and weather.

The work includes:
• Lawn mowing / Whippersnipping / Edging
• Hedge trimming
• Yard clean ups
• General property maintenance

What we’re looking for:
• Reliable & punctual
• Physically fit and happy working outdoors
• Good attitude & willingness to learn
• Driver’s licence preferred
• Experience helpful but not essential (training provided)

What we offer:
• Casual position with the opportunity for ongoing or full-time hours for the right person
• $32–$40 per hour depending on experience
• Local work around Coffs Harbour

I’ve always tried to run my business with empathy and understanding. If someone was going through a hard time, I gave space and didn’t chase payments aggressively because I believe people come first.

Unfortunately, I’ve recently been left with invoices unpaid for extended periods with no communication.
As a small business, this isn’t something I can continue to absorb.

Because of this, I’ll be making some changes going forward:

• One off jobs will now require payment prior to service

• Regular services must be up to date to stay on the schedule

• Overdue accounts will result in services being paused

This isn’t aimed at the many great clients I have, it’s simply about protecting the business so I can keep doing quality work and showing up.

Thank you to everyone who supports and respects what I do, I really appreciate it.

Big plans for the new year!

Hey everyone 👋

Just wanted to officially introduce my new business Sublime Exterior Cleaning.

I’m Joel from Joel’s Jungle Maintenance & Pressure Washing, and after getting asked so often about pressure washing, roof cleaning and exterior cleans, I’ve decided to separate it into its own dedicated business.

Sublime Exterior Cleaning will focus mainly on Pressure Washing & Soft Washing, with Gutter Cleaning / Solar Panel Cleaning also available.

Same local bloke, same standards, just a business set up specifically for exterior cleaning.

Going into the new year I’ve got some big plans for this side of the business, and you’ll start seeing a new truck getting around and about as things roll out.

We transformed this yard completely for FREE!

A little while ago, we made a post looking for someone in genuine need that we could help with a free cleanup.

This elderly lady saw the post but thought it must be a scam. Her words were, “Who would do something like that for free?”
Thankfully, her daughter-in-law saw the post and reached out.

When I went to view the property and heard her story, there was no question, we were getting it sorted.

Knowing it was a massive job, I reached out to a few incredible local businesses for a helping hand:

✅ Coffs Coast Rubbish Removers absolute legends who removed 2 tonnes of waste

✅ Bailey from Endless Metal Roofing replacing her rusted, hole-filled gutters.

✅ Jacob from Sincock Property Maintenance sent a crew of his boys to help smash through the workload

✅ Jordan from Jordan Burrows Electrical who came around to inspect and help with electrical work.

In total, over 4 tonnes of waste removed and 100+ man-hours donated to get this property back to a safe, liveable state.

This is what community is all about.

One act of kindness truly does inspire another.
