Lean to extension complete!

A 5m x 16m lean-to extension, tied into the existing shed with a roof pe*******on to gain some extra height where needed.

Finished in zinc galvanised steel framing, with no C-sections to help prevent birds from nesting in the frame.

Another practical solution built to suit the job!

FOUR CREWS. FOUR JOBS. ONE BIG DAY.

With four crews out across four separate sites, we were busy making serious progress on sheds in Birregurra, Colac, Mount Duneed and Johanna.

Different sheds, different sites, one hardworking team getting stuck into it.

A big effort from everyone involved.

A NOTE FROM US!

After 21 years as Westvic Sheds, we’re excited to announce the next chapter of our business:

Westvic Sheds is becoming Fair Dinkum Builds Colac.

Before we look forward, we want to look back and say a huge thank you.

To every customer who has supported us over the past 21 years, thank you. From our early days operating from a small converted dairy office to our current highway-frontage premises, your support has allowed us to grow into a business we’re incredibly proud of.

What started with sheds has grown into a complete range of building products and services, including sheds, garages, barns, farm and commercial buildings, carports, patios, garage doors, fencing and roofing supplies.

Along the way, we’ve been incredibly lucky to build a team that feels more like family. Some staff have been with us from the very beginning, while long-term employees, contractors and suppliers have played a huge part in our journey.

And that’s what we want you to know about this change, the name is changing, but the people aren’t.

We’re still the same locally owned and operated family business, with the same experienced team, the same local knowledge and the same commitment to our customers.

Our relationship with Fair Dinkum goes right back to the beginning, from the days of Fair Dinkum Sheds through to Fair Dinkum Builds today. Becoming Fair Dinkum Builds Colac allows us to embrace the strength of a national brand while continuing to deliver the local service and relationships our customers know and trust.

It’s also an exciting new chapter for Chris, who is taking on a national role with Fair Dinkum Builds, helping improve the buildability, practicality and innovation of buildings across Australia.

We’re incredibly proud of where Westvic Sheds has come from and grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey.

Same local family.
Same experienced team.
Same people you know and trust.
A new name for the next chapter.

Thank you for an incredible 21 years and here’s to many more great builds to come!

Chris,

Tune in tomorrow 11am 📻

This beauty is a 15m x 20m x 4m shed with an 11° roof pitch, finished in Shale Grey.

We also had a 95,500L Aquamate galvanised tank supplied and installed by our mates at Dooley O’Dwyer Plumbing. 🤝

Big shed with plenty of storage, and a great result for the property.
