From concept to craftsmanship 🛠️

The tiling is finished and joinery is taking shape at our Horizons Drive project. This is the stage where all the magic happens. Can’t wait to share more as it rounds the corner toward completion.

Fresh renders for the Clarkson residence.

To add interest to the back of the dwelling, we introduced a series of v-shaped poles and screening, paired with a considered mix of materials and textures across the facade.

The result: a facade with real depth and character, front to back. Always a pleasure designing for clients who get it.

We’re incredibly proud to have received the 2026 BDQ Sunshine Coast Regional Design Award for Residential Conceptual Design for 16 Horizons Drive, Coolum Beach.

This home has been such an exciting one to design. Set across a lush, leafy elevated site, the design unfolds across the landscape, wrapping around a central internal courtyard that forms the heart of the home. A generous entry sequence draws you through to the courtyard and pool beyond, while soaring ceilings and expansive volumes bring a sense of openness and drama to the moody, contemporary palette.

And a very special shoutout to our client. As a talented industry leader himself, having fully entrust us with this project is something we couldn’t be more proud of.

A huge thank you to Building Design Queensland for the recognition and for continuing to celebrate great design across our industry.

And, of course, a big thank you to the team behind Iziko Designs. Every project is a team effort, and we’re incredibly grateful for the care, creativity and work that goes into bringing these designs to life.

Construction on 16 Horizons Drive is set to begin in the next couple of months, which makes receiving this recognition at the conceptual stage all the more special. We can’t wait to watch this one come out of the ground and share the journey along the way, partnering with our trusted partner Beach Homes PTY LTD.

Some really exciting progress here at our Horizons project.

With the joinery now being installed by the amazing team at Shoreline Cabinets Pty Ltd, it’s so exciting to see everything finally coming together. Every detail is starting to take shape, and we can’t wait to see the finished result.
