Our business is on the rise within the building and construction industry. We provide high quality water carts for wet and dry hire to small and large scale civil and infrastructure projects across South-East Queensland. We have a great mix of current and upcoming projects and therefore are looking for a Service Administrator to join the team.
The Role.
The Service Administrator is responsible for managing all administration needs of our team. With hire equipment constantly moving and customers relying on us to keep down time to a minimum, it is also important that you can provide effective, productive and efficient customer service. To thrive in this position, you will enjoy providing great customer service and working in a busy team environment. You will have excellent time management skills and be very well organised with high attention to detail. This is a highly responsible position where others will rely upon your accuracy and competency.
This is a job share role part-time role (initially, 2 days a week are required on a Monday and Tuesday, with the possibility of additional days in the future.)
Job requirements
• Service Administration and Support to the Director, Operational Supervisor and Office Manager.
• Draft Dry Hire contract and agreements
• Perform administrative tasks at on and off hire of equipment stage, including:
o Reporting the damage/issue and when it occurred,
o creating repair orders and liaising with Operational Supervisor for repair and maintenance works on equipment.
o Update records.
• Ensure work in progress report is monitored on a daily basis ensuring jobs are closed as soon as the work has been completed
• Maintain service records for each item of plant
• Generate/update Plant Hazard Risk Assessments for each item of plant
• Manage scheduled servicing for all equipment
• Work with Operational Supervisor, to ensure the hire system is up to date. Ensure all company hire equipment is marked as unavailable for hire when they are undergoing servicing or repair work
• Assist with managing the part inventory
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable as needed
• General office administration / coordination such as record keeping and document control
• Other ad-hoc duties as needed
Candidate Requirements
• 2+ Years within Service Admin or Service Support within the equipment hire industry (ideal but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Clear understanding of the Hire industry (ideal but not essential)
• A passionate team player with a focus on excellent customer service
