Hi everyone,
It's time for an update to let everyone know what's going on at Two Thumbs Maintenance. I had my latest review. A few weeks ago, it didn't really go to plan. My diagnosis is now MND with Anti Iglon5. Extremely rare and fairly unknown. I now have to concentrate on my next journey.
This has made me have to make a decision I thought was along time away. Unfortunately I have had to stop all work and there for I will be closing Two Thumbs Maintenance. This decision has been so hard for me. I thoroughly enjoyed what I did for work. Meeting new people and new homes and helping to bring your dream to life. Two mates just doing quality workmanship and creating happy clients. I would also like to apologise as I know there are some customers that contacted me towards the end of last year and with my condition I was struggling and never got back to you.

Thankyou to all Two Thumbs Maintenance clients and businesses in town that supported us.

28th of February is Rare Disease Day. My rare disease superhero is definitely my husband, Jono, who went and found himself a disease about as rare as you get. Anti Iglon5.

Anti Iglon5 is a very rare, progressive neuro-autoimmune disorder in which antibodies within the body attack its own neurological system through the Iglon5 protein. The disease presents with sleep disorders, swallowing/speaking dysfunction, movement disorders and loss of muscle tone and coordination.

While some people might shrug their shoulders and just give up, not Jono. In his words "this disease picked the wrong bloke". Jono has faced treatment like a champion, even when it takes 5 attempts to cannulate 😳 and he has begun a daily workout routine to keep his muscles working.

Everyone who knows him will know, everything he does he will do it at 100%.

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the family and friends who have supported us through this journey. There are way to many of you to name. We truly are blessed to have you all in our corner 🥰

Merry Christmas to all of my clients. I hope you all have had a wonderful day with friends and family.
This year Two Thumbs Maintenance has been unbelievably busy. We have completed a broad range of works this year with very happy clients.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of Two Thumbs Maintenance clients for calling us and allowing us to create your dream within your home. We take pride in every aspect of all our projects to produce a high quality finish.
Unfortunately the last 3 months have not been kind to me (Jono). My health has deteriorated and unfortunately I am going to have take some time out to concentrate on my health. This is an extremely hard decision to make as I love what I do. I will keep you informed on my journey and hope to have my nail bag back on creating your dreams again soon.

Two Thumbs has been flat out and here we are it is July in 3 days.
We have completed many aspects of carpentry works in the past 6 months.
Some of the rather complex but when detail is everything you enjoy the challenges.

This customer purchased a customer gate and wanted to incorporate it into a privacy screen.
