Winds of change💛🧡🤎There’s a real feeling of shift in the seasons as growth slows and the flurry of late-summer harvests begins to slow. Zucchinis have finally exhausted themselves and are replaced now with a green-manure crop of broadbeans, tomatoes ripen faster than I feel able to harvest them and I can smell our beautiful rockmelons before I can see them. The last succession of our sweetcorn is harvested as I scramble for crates to harvest them all🌽The change of seasons brings new excitement of crops as I fill our greenhouse with winter seedlings. I’m ready for change🧡

🧡 hybrid🧡 in our polytunnels. I’m thinking maybe a parent 🧐 and it does have a lovely sweet flavour with a good acidic zing to it, so might try to stabilise this cross and grow a few next year for this same trait. Maybe a Sart Flamme? Or Jaune Roloise? 🧡

🍅Tomato time!🍅 Every year I get waaay too excited about saving and sowing tomato seeds that we always have some for sale in our ♥️ This year we have over 50 beautiful old and new varieties to share with you with proceeds donated to 💚And for $2 each, they are going fast so be quick! 🌱Oh! And the varieties are written in the pot with most being indeterminate - meaning they continually flower and fruit so will need support from a garden stake or frame. Any bush or determinate varieties will have a ‘D’ on the pot. Happy growing! Xx
