Hello to all.
So we just want to say a big thankyou again to everyone that has came in and brought parts and finished goods etc not just in the last month but over the last few years. We have always been overwhelmed with the local support that we have had. It has been an extremely hard decision and not one we have taken lightly as we well know that this decision is going to be a huge inconvenience to a lot of our customers and we do apologise for that. But as I think everyone can understand you have to do what you got to do to have your business financially stable and not get into a position where you cant get out of.
That position for us is going back to a workshop and field service operation only starting from Monday 2nd of March.
Please be patient as this is going to be a massive change for us getting into this transition as for
1. The front of shop will not be open to walk ins off the street. It will be all over the phone for bookings etc.
2. The phones may not be always answered as we will be limited staff and will be on jobs most of the time.
The phones will be set up with message service to email etc so it will be essential for all enquiries that a message is left for us to get back to you.

Today was the last day we had young Nathan Galway with us at Hewitts as he moves on to his next chapter in his working career. He has been with us for over 5 years and started with us with work experience while at school. The knowledge that he has had from at a very young age was mind blowing and put most mechanic's to shame including myself with his skills. He has been a hard working and one of the most dedicated young person i have worked with, and i wish there was a lot more young people or any people for that fact that has the work ethic and commitment that this young man has had. I have no doubt you will excel in your next job mate and whatever other job paths or careers you take on. We will miss you and we want to thank you for your time with us. But we are also excited to see you perform in your next roll. Cheers mate 👌

📢 Shopfront Closure & Clearance Sale

Our clearance sale will run for the entire month of February, with Friday 28th February being our last trading day for the shopfront.

After this date, the shopfront doors will close, however Hewitt’s Ag & Plant Repairs workshop will continue operating as normal, offering:

• Field service
• Hydraulic hose repairs
• Servicing & maintenance

All stock must go — everything reduced.

Here's some before, during and after snaps of a repair weve just done on a Seed drill after a bearing collapse. Had to cut out the old stub axle and replaced with a new ADR axle and hub kit.
