One of the rare days that I get paid whilst I'm at home in the shed.
Building these raised garden beds to match some existing ones for a client in Crookwell.
Also giving the Kanga a service whist I'm at it.
Might need to find more things to do given the forecast for the rest of this week 🌧🌧

Pond fill in to finish the complete garden makeover that I've been doing on and off over the past couple of years.
The Geese had pecked a hole in the liner and the bad water quality due to the nearby pine tree were reasons for its fill in.
Makes it a nice open lawn area with future plans for a few trees for a parkland look.

Finished off the Canberra red brick paths today. Despite the hard work, it was an enjoyable job to work on. Great location, paths complement the surrounding bushland and gardens and great people to work for.

Finally finished off the Taralga job after a very long wait for the hardwood post n rail fencing. 2.5 month wait! Looks the goods though. Suits the home and gardens nicely.
This is one of my favourite jobs I've had the pleasure of working on.
Have done work around the entire house at various stages and seeing it from what it was to now, is amazing.

A bit of Autumn colour at home. Boston Ivy has had a little dump of foliage today. Didn't get the best colour from it this year as the hot weather burnt the foliage through summer.

First time laying Santa Ana couch turf today. Getting a bit late in the season to be doing it but hoping we get some warm days with no frosts for the next few weeks. Be back there tomorrow to run a steel edge along the lawn and some soil in the garden bed to raise them up a little.

Apple picking time. These Jonathan's are good to go with the Redlove's and Pink Ladys not far off. The Gala's were ready but the wattle birds and Rosella's got there first. Might be time to invest in some nets!
