What started as a frost valve replacement turned into something much bigger.
After getting up on the second storey roof in Doveton, our team found the frost valve had failed, but so had the tank connection point, causing the system to burst.
To keep the client supplied with hot water, we installed a temporary connection directly into the boosted instantaneous hot water unit while preparing a long term replacement solution.
The leak had also caused significant corrosion to the roof sheets and box gutter, with rust damage requiring replacement works.
Sometimes the visible problem is only part of the story. 👊🏼
