Be part of a small, friendly, hard working but easy going team to help on a recent project we won in the beautiful remote Northern Territory that may turn into something epic with permanent work if wanted.
At Quality Electrical NT we service remote communities & outstations around Maningrida drive in drive out from darwin so only going bush for a week - 2 at a time then back to handle our clients around Darwin.
We are looking for a keen, qualified electrician to join our team in maintaining/rewiring the electrical in all the housing around these communities.
The communities are all friendly places to live and work with most necessities readily available from local supermarkets.
You may be working with apprentices so must be ok to teach occasionally and work with them as a team. Good initiative, ability to work alone, communication skills, honest and hard working is also necessary.
There is plenty of outdoor activities to do while out bush, so if you like fishing, hunting, camping etc it is really the opportunity to be apart of! You will not experience Australia anywhere else like you do in remote NT.
The position is for a full time & or Casual electrician, located in Darwin. 40 hour weeks with the option to do more if wanted.
Work car, accomodation (shared kitchen/bathroom), food and uniform is provided.
You will need to provide your own hand/power tools and have your NT A-Grade Electrical licence. Interstate applicants can apply for this licence online. Anyone with off-grid solar experience is highly desirable.
We offer an attractive pay rate & living away from home allowance while out bush.
