Tropix Homes is a locally owned and operated building company specializing in custom built tropical homes throughout Darwin city and rural parts of the Northern Territory, Australia. Our aim is provide people with a home that reflects there individual lifestyle and needs, whilst also accommodating to each clients budget. The partners, Shane Bobby and Joel Bambridge, have over 25 years experience i

n the building industry throughout the Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia, and are registered with the Master Builders Association of Australia. Tropix homes utilize quality finishes and products including natural timbers, fiber cement sheeting,plywood, steel and block-work in well shaded areas. All our products are selected to have good aesthetic qualities, suitable for tropical climates, have long lasting durability, and are fully cyclone coded. The quality of workmanship, one on one contact, and attention to detail that goes into each individual home is what sets Tropix Homes apart from other large building companies in the Territory.

Celebrating 20 years of friendship and 11 years of business!

We have some sad and exciting news we would like to share……

After 15 years in the Territory and 11 years in business, Ruth and Joel have made the tough decision to relocate to Queensland. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with our clients, trades and suppliers over the years, many of which have become lifelong friends. We are excited for our next adventure, and wanted to thank everyone for the support and friendship over the years.

The good news is, Tropix Homes will continue as usual, with Shane leading the construction side and Ruth working from a distance. We will continue to strive creating our passion, which is designing and building quality tropical homes suited to our harsh territory climate.
