🌿 Investing in Safety Through Training

This week, Emma is undertaking the 5-day Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Training course and is currently working through Day 2 of 5.

The training is providing valuable insight into workplace health and safety legislation, hazard identification, risk management, consultation processes and the important role HSRs play in creating safer workplaces.

At Oxford Landscaping, we believe safety is more than a compliance requirement, it’s about looking after our people and ensuring everyone goes home safely at the end of each day. As our business continues to grow, we remain committed to investing in training, education and continuous improvement to strengthen our safety culture.

Looking forward to completing the remaining three days and bringing practical knowledge back to the team.

⚽️ A great way to finish the week with our Oxford Landscaping/Maintenance World Cup sweepstake!

As I looked around the room this afternoon, I couldn’t help but feel proud of the team we have. Every project completed, every challenge overcome, and every milestone achieved is only possible because of the people behind it.

It’s easy to focus on the jobs, the growth and the goals, but the reality is that Oxford’s success comes down to the hard work, commitment and dedication of our team each and every day.

We do have a few team members missing today as they’re still away working hard in Tom Price, but their contribution certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed.

A huge thank you to every member of the Oxford Landscaping team. Your efforts, loyalty and work ethic are what make this business what it is today.

Now let’s see whose World Cup team can bring home the trophy! 🏆⚽

🚧 Big things are happening behind the scenes! 🌿

One of our latest landscape projects comes with a unique challenge, access. With no easy way to get materials into the backyard, we’re bringing in the big guns and craning everything over the house! 🏗️

From plants and soils to landscaping materials, it will all be carefully lifted into position so we can transform this space into something special.

Projects like these take plenty of planning, teamwork and problem-solving, and we couldn’t be more excited to get started.

Stay tuned as we bring this design to life, this is going to be a beauty!

There’s something pretty special about watching a space come to life for children.

These custom-built forts at Leaps and Bounds Prep School were handcrafted by our talented head carpenter, Danny, and designed to encourage imagination, adventure, social play and endless opportunities for children to create their own stories outdoors.

At Oxford Landscaping, we love creating spaces that inspire children to explore, connect with nature and simply be children.

A huge credit to Danny for the care, skill and attention to detail that went into creating these unique play spaces. The finished result is something we are incredibly proud of.

And if I’m being completely honest… if Oxford Landscaping had been around when my children were growing up, my children would have had the best playground on the block! 😂

We can’t wait to see the children making memories, building friendships and creating endless adventures in their new fort spaces.

💗 We’re Going Pink for a Cause Close to Our Hearts

At Oxford Landscaping, we believe in supporting causes that make a difference in our community. This year, our team will be getting behind breast cancer awareness and fundraising to help support the incredible work being done in research, treatment and support services.

On Friday, 26 June, the Oxford Landscaping team will be wearing pink and taking part in a special fundraising day to show our support for everyone affected by breast cancer.

We’re still working through exactly what our fundraising activities will look like, so stay tuned for more information over the coming weeks. We would love for our clients, family, friends and community to get involved and support the cause alongside us.

First Leg Complete – Carnarvon Bound!

The boys have safely arrived in Carnarvon after tackling some challenging driving conditions through rain, wind and plenty of wet weather along the way.

A big day on the road, but they’re all safe, in good spirits, and ready for the next leg of the journey as they continue north towards Tom Price.

Safe travels, boys. We appreciate the commitment and dedication it takes to get these projects delivered, no matter the weather.

When it’s Bring Your Dog to Work Day… every day 🐾

There’s never a dull moment at Oxford Landscaping. Whether we’re on the tools, in the workshop, or in the office, our four-legged team members are never far away. They might not help with the landscaping, but they certainly keep spirits high and put a smile on everyone’s face.

And even if she does escape every now and then and sends us on a search party around Halifax trying to track her down, we still wouldn’t have it any other way! 😂🐶

Because some days, a wet nose and a wagging tail are exactly what the team needs. 💚

Preparations are well underway!

Today the team has been busy loading up vehicles, checking equipment and making sure everything is organised for the long journey north to Tom Price.

We’re proud to have the opportunity to be working under the umbrella of LAC Landscape Australia Construction on this upcoming project. A lot of planning and preparation goes on behind the scenes before the team even leaves the yard, and it’s great to see everyone pitching in to get the job done.

Wishing the crew safe travels as they head off to represent Oxford Landscaping Company on another exciting project.
