Please be aware that the State Government's proposed relaxations are not yet applicable and require State legislation to be passed before this comes into effect. Therefore, development including decks, patios and carports that do not meet current exemptions still require a Development Application.

⚬ Ensure pets and animals are in a safe area
⚬ Move vehicles under cover
⚬ Boat owners should securely moor their boats
⚬ Campers should find safe shelter away from trees, powerlines, storm water drains and streams
⚬ Unplug electrical appliances and avoid using landline telephone if there is lightning.
