Drag ‘n’ Drop irrigation scheduling is now available for Singlenet two-wire control systems. MAIT Industries have developed a software extension and hardware module that will allow for multiple Singlenet hosts to be connected to a new or existing MAIT Base Station. This development will allow Singlenet users to perform more complex irrigation operations and integration of a range of field sensors including weather stations, soil moisture probes and plant-based sensors.

The newly developed BL12E-N expansion card provides for the physical connection to the Singlenet hosts. Each BL12E-N expansion card can accommodate up to 256 valves and their corresponding digital inputs. The 256 valves can be across multiple Singlenet hosts at the one location. The BL12E-N has four additional inputs which can be used for 4-20mA, pulse and relay inputs (eg pressure, flow meter, fault relay). Additional local inputs and outputs are provided using standard MAIT hardware. Pump control, filtration and fertigation is easily accommodated as are multiple mainlines.
