🎨 It’s not always as simple as another coat of paint!

We’re currently working on a full interior repaint in Railton, where the ceilings have some pretty noticeable smoke staining.

Rather than painting straight over it and risking those stains coming back through, Tom takes us through why the right preparation and products make all the difference.

For this job, we’re using a Haymes Paint oil-based primer sealer to help block the staining before applying our finish coats. 👌

It’s the work you don’t always see that makes the difference to the finished result!

Introducing Jay — another one of the legends behind Rodmans Painting Services! 👏

🎨 How long have you been in the painting & decorating industry?
“I’m heading into my 9th year of painting.”

🎨 Best part about working at Rodmans Painting Services?
“The high standards across the whole team. Everyone takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering quality results for our customers.

I also enjoy the variety of work we do, from commercial projects and new homes to interior and exterior repaints. No two jobs are the same!”

🎨 What’s your favourite type of painting work?
“Definitely bringing old weatherboard homes back to life! Some haven’t seen a fresh coat of paint in 15–20 years, and the transformations can be incredible.”

With nearly 9 years of experience under his belt, Jay brings plenty of knowledge, attention to detail and pride in his workmanship to the Blue Crew. We’re lucky to have him on board and appreciate the quality he delivers on every project! 👌

Safe to say, if there’s an old weatherboard house that needs some love, Jay’s your man! 😂🖌️

We’ve picked up some Haymes Paint Shop buckets in support of TIACS.

Looking after your mates goes beyond the job site. Check in, have a yarn and make time to listen, you never know who might need it.

A small purchase supporting a cause we’re proud to get behind. 💙
